The ZVM Student Program

We believe in exposing our students to various areas of law so they gain a wide variety of legal experience and can determine the areas they are most interested in. Most of our articling students’ work is assigned directly from partners or senior associates, however, it also comes from putting yourself out there and getting to know the members of the Zacharias Vickers McCann team and each of our departments.

What to Expect

Our students will gain invaluable experience in both our solicitor and litigation departments and will also rotate between our Chilliwack and Abbotsford offices, working with different lawyers on a variety of legal projects and files. We also offer in-house seminars for students to continue to expand their legal knowledge. We strongly encourage our students to seek feedback on their work, be engaged and ask questions along the way.

Candidates for 2026 summer student positions are currently being considered.
